Privacy Policy

Information we process

• Content you create. Hero names, character choices, story selections, and similar creative inputs are stored locally on your device (browser or app storage). We do not require an account, and we do not keep a copy of your saga on our servers.
• AI generation requests.When you generate a comic panel, character, or story beat, the creative inputs needed for that generation are sent to our AI providers — OpenAI (artwork and text) and Anthropic (the interactive story guide) — to produce your content. These requests are used only to generate your content and are handled under our providers' API data-usage terms, which do not permit training on this data. We ask you to agree to this before anything is sent for the first time, and a grown-up can withdraw that agreement at any time under Settings ⚙️ → AI creations; once it is off, nothing further is sent and the rest of Kin Saga keeps working.
• Purchases. Subscriptions in the iOS app are processed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details. Apple provides us only anonymous transaction records needed to unlock your subscription.
• Basic technical logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps short-lived request logs (such as IP address and user agent) for security and abuse prevention.

What we don't do

• No accounts, no profiles, no email lists.
• No third-party analytics or advertising SDKs.
• No sale or sharing of personal information.
• No tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

Children's privacy

Kin Saga is a family product designed to be enjoyed together. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Creative content stays on the family's own device, and purchases require Apple's standard parental controls where enabled.

Data retention & your choices

Your saga lives in your device's local storage — clearing the app's data or your browser storage deletes it. AI generation requests are not retained by us. To manage or cancel a subscription, use your Apple Account settings.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/UK under the GDPR, or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because Kin Saga keeps your creative content on your own device and holds no account data about you, most requests are satisfied by clearing the app's data — but you can always email us at info@cyberwaveglobal.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA, and we do not use it for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
